The Bible Belt is an informal term for a region in the south-eastern and south-central United States in which socially conservative evangelical Protestantism plays a strong role in society and politics, and Christian church attendance across the denominations is generally higher than the nation's average. The Bible belt consists of much of the Southern United States.

       THE BIBLE BELT

There was a fiddler in our town,

Who was fiddling around.

Because he had faith,

He thought it was safe!

The Blue Grass Man

Went to bed with a fan.

In the middle of the night,

They had a fight.

The only thing within reach

To hit this peach—

The only thing around—

Was leather bound.

Without takin' a look,

He picked up the book.

With nothing else in mind,

He belted her behind.

While the fiddler was at large,

The lady filed a charge.

But the Judge had both empathy

And sympathy.

The aggressor got off light

For this fight.

And the moral of the story is:

If you're gon'na have fun On th' run,

Take along a BIBLE— Instead of a GUN!

Flat Earthers

My Sunday School Teacher said, "The earth is FLAT, because the BIBLE speaks of THE FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH" ‘n that she dose not believe in SCIENCE. She also says the Earth is just ten thousand years old and that the world was made in Seven Days 'n that is God's Word 'n all us that don’t believe that are gonna burn in hell for Eternity.

My Grandpa said, "How do you burn the soul?"

My Dad said, "I know the EARTH IS ROUND because, when I was on a ship going to France during World War I, we could see the mast of a distant ship before the rest of the ship."

My Uncle said, "Don't listen to her. She gived me the CLAP."

My Mother said, "Let's pray for her."
